A family of restaurateurs from generation to generation. Michel & Marlène transmitted to their son Maximin "The Good Taste" since his childhood.
He transmits to his team, in turn, the energy and the desire to build. Discreetly accompanied by his sister Audrey and his brother in law Timothée. She brings a feminine touch to the wine list and he oversees the pastry with a malicious eye.

MAXIMIN HELLIO cooked at a young age in the kitchens of the famillial restaurant "LA VIEILLE TOUR" to Plérin. He observed through a window that overlooks the kitchen, his father Michel officiating with his team. It is indeed him who will transmit his passion for gastronomy and guide him throughout his career.
At 18, with his graduation he starts to train with great names of French cuisine, as Marc Haeberlin, the Raimbault brothers, Frédéric Anton.
In 2008 he joined his father who runs Hotel Restaurant La Voile d’Or à Sables d’or les Pins. The restaurant quickly gained its first star by the Michelin Guide
Maximin took charge of the kitchens of the “Pavillon de Gouffern” in 2013. Its mission is to achieve the opening of two restaurants, a gourmet and a brasserie.
Lovers of beautiful products, he will puts all his passion and creativity at the service of the two restaurants.
With all his experiences, he decided to open in May 2016 his first eponymous restaurant in Deauville. In July 2016 the restaurant Maximin Hellio gets 3 toques by the Gault & Millau guide.
